Philosophy
When considering gifts, we will honor God and the principles in His Word. We will contribute to organizations that promote both the Clemens family’s spiritual heritage as well as its obligation of being a good community citizen in the communities where CFC owns or operates a business. Philanthropic gifts are ones where the family gets no direct benefit from the gift.
The Philanthropic Committee reviews gift requests once per year, and therefore all requests must be made in writing to the Chairman of the Philanthropic Committee no later than June 30.
Our family is very diversified in their interests but we will strive to make decisions to unite the family in philanthropic causes. We want to limit our donations to causes where family members have concerns, although there may be times of emergencies and different situations to consider.
Mission
The Clemens Family Corporation is committed to giving the maximum amount allowed by law for charitable contributions.
It is the owners’ intent to continue the practice of giving back to the community and other charitable organizations as stated in the Owner’s Values. Gifts may be made in both cash and/or product.
