The Clemens Family Corporation Welcomes
Nick’s Sausage Company into its Family!
On August 15 The Clemens Family Corporation acquired Nick’s Sausage Company of Hyattsville, Maryland into its family of businesses.
Nick’s Sausage Company, owned by Ferrante Brothers, Inc., has been in business for over 30 years, and produces a complete line of premium Italian, breakfast, and specialty sausage products.
Nick’s product line originated with authentic Italian sausage made from the recipe Nick Ferrante brought from Italy. The goal of Nick’s Sausage, “To produce the highest quality sausage using only the finest raw ingredients…” is the perfect fit into the customer-centered approach of all businesses within The Clemens Family Corporation.
This acquisition will strengthen CFC’s presence with Food Service customers in the Mid-Atlantic area, which includes states from Massachusetts down to North Carolina, and will offer Nick’s Sausage Company the opportunity to continue growing its brand to meet increasing demand. Several clerical and administrative functions have been consolidated into the Corporation, but otherwise, Nick’s Sausage will operate as an individual subsidiary within The Clemens Family Corporation.
Rick Ferrante, son of the original founder Nick Ferrante, will continue to run the business.
